About Lola Swift

My career began in London as a textile designer. Straight out of art school, I started my own label, selling a collection of knitwear and handbags to much-admired retailers, including Designer's Guild, Paul Smith, Selfridges, and boutiques worldwide.

I moved to Bath; my brand grew, as did my family, so after 3 children, I opened my first Pop-up shop in the centre of Bath, selling a collection of artisan furniture, vintage finds and homewares alongside my knitwear and fashion accessories. I found the perfect way to showcase my design style, which resulted in me moving into designing other people's homes.

At the heart of my work is a comfortable understanding of how and where to use colour and tactile materials to create original and lived-in homes. The foundation of a good room design is listening to the needs of the people living in it and providing a balance of style, fun, and practicality that brings their personalities into the home.

My experience in knitwear and manufacturing in the UK has given me a rich understanding of quality and craftsmanship. I encourage using long-lasting materials that stand the test of time and source products, both old and new, to create homes that look lived in and make you feel comfortable living in them.
